The PG 410 features state-of-the-art amplifier technology. It includes amplification ranges
for large currents, new hardware filters. The most significant advance is the adjustment and
control of the amplifier at the software level via a digital interface.
The versatility of the amplifier and its superb technical specifications make the PG 410 the
instrument of choice for all electrochemical experiments. The highly advanced integration
of hardware and software of the PG 400 system eliminates compatibility problems, time consuming set-up operations, and training time.

Short description of the PG 400 series:
  • Potentiostatic or galvanostatic can be selected as required

  • The desired bandwidth can be set in 9 steps

  • A filter adjustment on the current amplifier allows filtering of the output voltage, which is proportional to the current, for attenuation of the recorder signal.

  • The resistance between the reference and working electrode can be compensated with the IR adjustment

  • The initial potential can be set in two potential ranges

  • The output signals for voltage and current can be monitored with the use of the 4 1/2 digital voltmeter

  • The power outputs are protected against short-circuiting

  • The potentiostat can also be operated in the ”floating” mode; that is, the chassis ground is isolated from that of the electric power

  • A digital interface allows to set and to read the potentiostat settings.

  • The digital interface is opto-coupled, to provide electrical spikes and to decrease the noise level.

  • A LED indicates the mode of the REMOTE or LOCAL mode.
