X-Chart was designed to implement the main features of a chart/tape recorder in software allowing you to view and record analog inputs. X-Chart in combination with the EPC 9 / ITC-16 will enable you to sample analog signals from up to 8 input channels and display them simultaneously on the screen. In addition, data received via the serial ports of the computer or data calculated from recorded data can be displayed.

In the 'measure mode' data can be continuously acquired and displayed. Recordings can be started, stopped and resumed at any time. Labeling of particular events is possible as you record. Data sources, display parameters, names, units, gains and offsets could be individually set by the user. Previously recorded data can be displayed offline using original or custom display and scaling parameters. Special events can still be marked and commented. In the 'analysis mode' the fully recorded time interval is shown with the ability to zoom in according to your requirements. Moreover, the displayed segment of your data and the selected traces can be stored to disk in either ASCII or IGOR format, allowing you to perform further processing by powerful data analysis programs like IGOR or standard spreadsheet programs.

X-Chart is distributed in two different versions, an extension module to the PULSE program (”PULSE Extension”) and a standalone version (”X-Chart Standalone”).

Features:
  • Easy to use
  • Analog signals are sampled by a double-buffering technique in the range of +/- 10 volts
  • 16 bit precision from up to 8 analog input channels.
  • Online moving average (mean calculation)
  • Serial data can be received from one or both of the serial ports.
