The PIP 5 pipette puller is a new development with the outstanding characteristics of the temperature controlled heating filament. This temperature control replaces the conventional control of the filament current thus resulting in an improved reproducibility of the pipettes.

Due to the temperature control the settings have not to be corrected repeatedly as the temperature control works independently from condition, age and material of the filament. This affects mainly the lower temperatures of the second pull.

The pipettes are being produced by a 2-step vertical pull at two independently selectable temperatures. Due to the symmetry of the pull you will always receive two equivalent pipettes. Different spacer disks which determine the individual pull length allow the production of pipettes for nearly every use. The range of application of the produced pipettes covers e.g. intracellular recording pipettes or patch-clamp pipettes. Simple operation and high quality at a favorable price are taken for granted.
