The quartz MicromanifoldTM (QMM) utilizes a unique technology incorporating quartz microcapillaries coated with polyamide to make them flexible and damage resistant. A QMM is comprised of individual polyamide coated quartz capillaries that are fused together allowing their contents to flow together in a lesser space with a dead volume of less than 90nl!!
The Heated Perfusion Tube (HPT-2) is an inline device used to warm up perfusion solutions before they are added to the cell bath. The device uses a resistive element to heat.
The Level Lock, LL-2, fluid level controller is a unique instrument for fluid level control. It offers the ability to control the fluid level in a very small chamber (as low as 1ml) with minimal surface disturbance and sub-millimeter accuracy down to 100mm.
The HCMIS is designed to provide accurate temperature control in the 0-45oC temperature range. The heating and cooling of the unit is powered by two Peltier (thermo-electrics devices) HCMIS shown with optional Gas ports.
